Position Overview:The Director shall be the chief academic and administrative head of the PGDM institution, responsible for strategic leadership, academic excellence, regulatory compliance (AICTE norms), and overall institutional growth. The role requires visionary leadership to position the institute among top management institutions in India.Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Leadership:Provide strategic direction for the PGDM program in alignment with AICTE guidelines.Ensure high standards in teaching, curriculum design, and academic delivery.Introduce innovative pedagogical practices, industry-integrated learning, and research initiatives.Oversee academic planning, scheduling, and evaluation processes.2. Regulatory Compliance (AICTE):Ensure full compliance with AICTE norms, approvals, and accreditation requirements.Liaise with AICTE and other regulatory bodies for approvals, inspections, and reporting.Maintain statutory records, documentation, and audit readiness.3. Institutional Development & Strategy:Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans.Build the institute’s brand, rankings, and reputation.Foster partnerships with industry, academia, and international institutions.4. Faculty Management:Recruit, develop, and retain qualified faculty as per AICTE norms.Promote faculty research, publications, FDPs, and consultancy.Conduct performance appraisals and mentoring.5. Student Development & Placements:Ensure quality admissions in line with institutional goals.Strengthen placement activities and corporate relations.Promote student engagement, internships, live projects, and career development.6. Administration & Operations:Oversee daily operations including admissions, finance, HR, and infrastructure.Ensure effective governance and policy implementation.Manage budgets and optimize resource utilization.7.
