Whether through product innovation or digital transformation, teams are enabled to create solutions that elevate performance and redefine possibilities for athletes everywhere.PURPOSE OF ROLE:The Senior AI Manager (AI & Automation), is an AI first technical leader within EDMA responsible to build and lead the AI & Automation capability in India by defining engineering standards, developing specialists, and allocating talent to squads. The role is solid-line reporting local UAI Site Leader for day-to-day operations & dotted-line with USHQ AI/Automation COE to execute enterprise AI strategy, establish safe and reliable delivery practices, and scale reusable components.YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities):Build an elite AI/Automation talent bench: skills taxonomy, hiring bar, onboarding, mentoring, and career progression.Allocate specialists to squads based on use-case complexity and priority (ML, GenAI/LLM apps, workflow automation); manage rotations and continuity.Define and enforce MLOps/LLMOps standards: versioning, evaluation gates, monitoring, drift/performance management, and release discipline.Create reusable accelerators (RAG templates, evaluation harnesses, guardrails modules, deployment pipelines) to speed squad delivery.Establish AI/Automation Community of Practice to drive consistent patterns, code quality, and knowledge sharing.Partner with Data Platform and Governance capabilities to ensure secure data use, traceability, and operational reliability.Provide feedback to USHQ COE on adoption friction, tooling gaps, and opportunities to standardize at enterprise scale.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree with typically 10+ years in AI/ML engineering, automation engineering, or applied AI or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree.Typically, 3+ years leading technical teams/capabilities.Deep competency in: MLOps practices (pipelines, registry, CI/CD), and modern AI application patterns (evaluation, monitoring, reliability).Experience building LLM-enabled solutions (e.g., retrieval patterns, prompt/version discipline, latency/cost optimization) and/or workflow automation at scale.Strong engineering rigor: testing, observability, secure integration patterns, and production operations mindset.Proven ability to scale standards and reusable components across multiple squads with measurable impact.WORKPLACE LOCATION:Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our office.Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per weekOUR COMMITMENT TO EQUAL OPPORTUNITY: At Under Armour, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, family or paternal status and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
