Job Description We are seeking an SAP Basis / HANA Administrator to support and maintain SAP systems across on-premises and public cloud environments. This role is responsible for ensuring system performance, availability, maintenance, and technical stability for SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Java Stack (PI/PO), and HANA databases. Below are key focus areas for this role: 1. Architecture • Demonstrate strong understanding of the technical components of SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Java Stack (PI/PO) • Support and maintain High Availability (HA) architecture for both SAP applications and HANA databases • Demonstrate basic knowledge of SAP BTP components • Good architectural understanding of SAP systems hosted on public cloud (Preferably AWS) • Perform SAP version and patch upgrades for S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and Java stack systems 2. Troubleshooting • Troubleshoot performance issues at both the SAP application and HANA database levels • Identify and resolve issues impacting system availability • Demonstrate understanding of key technical areas that can affect SAP system uptime, stability, and performance 3. Application Maintenance • Apply kernel and database patches, including activities requiring rolling restarts • Leverage HA capabilities to minimize downtime during maintenance • Manage and troubleshoot certificates in SAP, Cloud Connector, and Web Dispatcher • Apply SAP OSS Notes • Perform system refreshes and client copies • Analyze Early Watch Alerts and give recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: SAP Basis Certification (System Administration) SAP HANA Certification AWS Certification - Certified Solutions Architect / SAP on AWS BTP Administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to be a self-starter and proactively engage with team to create and execute strategic improvement initiatives
