Role Name: Senior Process Design Engineering ManagerAbout Company: Client is an Indian multi-national with offices is UN, New-Zealand, Middle_East and India. It provides Engineering solutions to MNC customers (e.g. Dominoes) to improve their processing efficiencies .Job Location: Bangalore, IndiaReporting to: DirectorPrimary purpose:The Design Manager will lead the design and development of technical solutions in line with project, proposal, and organizational goals. This role involves managing a team of design engineers, driving standardization and innovation, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and timely outputs. The manager will collaborate across departments such as proposals, sales, project execution, and R&D to align engineering deliverables with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:· Process equipments detailed designing like pneumatic conveying systems, screw conveyers, powder mixers, various powder grinding systems, rotary sifters, vibratory sifters, powder storage silos, milk powder processing systems.· Experience in reviewing and sign off of fabrication drawings· Experience in sizing, gearbox, motors, material selections· Experience in simulation of process equipments· Structural analysis· Load and stress analysis· Sheet metal design and stainless steel equipment detailed designing & fabrication drawings· Must have special purpose machine(SPM) designing experience-10+ years· Lead draftsman and design engineering· Strong understanding of 3D modelling, CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.),· Knowledge on various design standards like ASME, API, EN· Knowhow of various food safety standards, explosion protection internation standards like ATEX, IECEX· Must have Worked in relevant companies but not restricted to like Axtel, Reicoo, Cybernettik, Gea, Tetrapak, Prasad engineering company, qlair group(Schenk), zeppelin, Miranda, alfalaval.Qualifications & Experience:· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering /mechatronics /chemical or related discipline· Masters in design/process engineering related would be added advantage· 10–15 years of detailed engineering design experience, with at least 3 yrs exp in managing design team.· Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills
