About the role: The Associate, District In-Charge will serve as the on-ground coordinator responsible for executing regenerative agriculture interventions at the District level. This role requires close engagement with farmers, community institutions, and field teams to ensure effective implementation, adoption, and monitoring of sustainable agricultural practices. What you’ll do: Program Implementation Lead on-ground execution of regenerative agriculture programs across assigned districts Promote and facilitate adoption of sustainable and regenerative farming practices among farmers Monitor field activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines Farmer Engagement & Capacity Building Conduct training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs for farmers Provide continuous support and guidance to farmers on regenerative practices Act as the primary point of contact for farmer-related queries and challenges Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong partnerships with local stakeholders such as NGOs, FPOs, government bodies, and community leaders Collaborate with ecosystem partners to strengthen program reach and effectiveness Team Management Supervise and guide field teams to ensure efficient execution of activities Drive team performance through regular monitoring, mentoring, and feedback Data & Reporting Maintain accurate records of field activities and farmer engagement Use MS Office tools for reporting, tracking progress, and documentation Provide regular updates to central teams on program performance and challenges Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor’s/master’s in agriculture. Prior experience in promoting sustainable agriculture practices. Strong understanding of regenerative agriculture principles Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Proven experience in building partnerships with local stakeholders Demonstrated team management and leadership skills Strong communication skills, especially in engaging with farmers and rural communities Background in Agriculture, Rural Development, or allied fields. Experience working in grassroots or community-based programs Ability to work extensively in field conditions and remote locations
