Job Description: Urban Planner (6–10 Years Experience)Location: BengaluruWe are seeking an experienced Urban Planner with 6–10 years of post‑Master’s professional experience to work with a private consultancy delivering urban planning assignments for Government and public sector clients. The role involves preparation of statutory and strategic plans, field coordination, and close engagement with Government agencies and multidisciplinary teams, including regular site engagement.Key Responsibilities:Prepare master plans, city development plans, TOD/area‑based plans, and infrastructure‑linked planning studiesInterpret and apply Government policies, URDPFI guidelines, state town planning acts, and development control regulationsPlan and coordinate primary surveys (household, traffic, land use, socio‑economic), including survey design, supervision, and data validationUndertake frequent travel to project sites for field reviews, surveys, meetings with local authorities, and stakeholder consultationsCoordinate with ULBs, SPVs, state departments, and other stakeholdersPrepare technical reports, drawings, presentations, and responses to Government reviewsSupport stakeholder consultations, workshops, and approval processesQualifications & Experience:Master’s degree in Urban Planning / Regional Planning / Urban Design6–10 years of relevant experience in urban planning consultancy for Government projectsStrong understanding of Indian urban planning regulations and flagship schemes (AMRUT, Smart Cities, etc.)Proven experience in managing field surveys and integrating survey outputs into planning proposalsProficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and MS OfficeStrong report writing and client coordination skillsWillingness to travel frequently for project requirementsPreference for Telugu‑speaking candidates
