Job Title: FP&A Senior Analyst Location: Bangalore, India Job Type: Full-Time, Remote to On-site Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst supports finance teams by managing financial data collection, consolidation, and reporting processes. This role ensures the accuracy of monthly results, supports budgeting and forecasting cycles, and provides actionable insights to management through detailed financial analysis, dashboards, and performance reports. The position also acts as a key liaison between controllers, commercial teams, and global reporting functions, ensuring data integrity across systems (such as S4HANA, HFM, and BI platforms.) Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support preparation and upload of monthly financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, and cost statements) into HFM and CSR systems. Run preliminary actuals and reconcile data between CSR, HFM, and S4HANA to ensure data accuracy. Support month-end close processes including FX updates, non-recurring item reviews, and flash reporting. Support development and maintain rolling 12-month P&L and balance sheet reports. Generate detailed local and regional financial statements, including commissions, cost, and sales analysis. Commercial & Sales Reporting: Prepare monthly sales vs plan vs prior year reports by platform, market segment, and top customers. Maintain and update Top 30 Customer, Hunting Customer, and Country Council reports. Support commercial excellence initiatives through sales tracking, pricing system maintenance, and KPI dashboards. Ensure daily sales report accuracy and alignment with S4HANA customer/item data. Consolidate multiple sales and financial reports into management presentations (Flash Slides, Monthly Results Deck). Data Management & System Support: Maintain and update BI databases, ensuring correct mapping of customer and item numbers. Format Oracle P&L and transaction reports into Excel, adding segment descriptions and pivot analyses. Update SharePoint invoice error logs and manufacturing (MFG) Excel files for BI loads. Track monthly inventory movements (beginning inventory, production, shipments, available inventory). Pull labor hours from Pay core system for cost analysis. Forecasting & Planning: Support Invested Capital forecast process. Align sales planning data with BI and PBI systems, ensuring consistency of customer/item master data. Maintain initiative tracker KPIs and support ongoing business performance visibility. Assist with preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Coordination & Communication: Support controllers (including during absence/medical leave) and assist in transition of controlling activities. Coordinate data collection and follow-up with preparers based on aligned reporting agendas. Provide timely updates and ensure alignment between local, regional, and global finance teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred. Qualified accountant (CA/ ACCA) is preferred At lease 6-8 years of experience in in financial planning, controlling, or reporting roles (preferably in a multinational environment). Strong proficiency in Excel, (Power BI, S4HANA, HFM, and Oracle reporting tools.) Experience with data extraction, reconciliation, and database maintenance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and data accuracy.
