Job DescriptionLead - Financial Planning & Analysis and RiskPosition Title: Lead – FP&A and RiskMinimum Educational Qualifications required for the job1. Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India2. MBA from reputed institute (preferred)Minimum years of Experience required for the job8 to 9 years of Experience in Financial planning & AnalysisFMCG (Trading and Mfg sector) preferred.Reports to : Manager - Finance, Accounts & Risk.Role : Team Lead for FP&APosition Summary: Accountabilities:o Overall responsible for risk management – Market Price risk, Credit risk, counterparty performance risk etc.o Perform analysis of revenue performance and growth, profit and loss reports,revenue reports, working capital movements.o Compile and analyze financial reports and find discrepancies that requires seniormanagement’s attention.o Liaise and organize financial data from accounting and execution departmento Forecasting & Budgetingo Developing and implementing risk & MIS reportso Support in implementation of the BI tools necessary for the roleLevel of Responsibility: HighDelegation of Responsibility: will have two reporteesJob Descriptiono Responsible for the daily counter party risk report for all commodities, liaise withall other departments (Trade, execution and finance) to ensure accuracy andcompletion of risk reporto Responsible for preparation and review of various management reports, likedebtors /creditors ageing reports, contract ageing reports, price variance reportsetc, on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis and other risk mitigation reports.o Responsible for the carry charge working on monthly basis across commodities andits automation in ERP and Qliko Custodian for process of credit approval for counter parties in COFACE and ensurecompliance with global credit risk policyo Responsible for daily position reporting in APEX/Delta and calculation of daily P&Lfor all commodities. Manage commodity hedging with DBS and provide timely andaccurate report to global risk teamo Review data on historical and future trends in performance and develop exceptionreporting for management for business processes. Provide and prepare Ad-hocrequest information for the management and group reporting team.o Working with individual departments, to prepare budgets and consolidate them into overall budget of the Company.o Generate improvised dashboards to support reporting and analytics such as KPIs,metrics, financial reports for the management.o Financial Modeling and Perform business case and ROI analysis for all new andexisting products and services and monitored their performances accordingly.o Review of all the reports and working towards Automation of the reports.Problems/ Key Features• Strategic planning, budgeting , risk management, Multi-dimensional reporting.Interface:Internal: With Business Teams, Finance Team, Legal, Back office and ManagementExternal: Auditors, Credit InsuranceCompetencies Required:Functional Competencies: Detailed understanding of the P & L, Balance Sheet and Working Capital. Proficiency in BI tools and MS Office. Data driven, analytical and tech savvy, disciplined, objective and detailed oriented. Knowledge of IFRS, IND AS & US GAAP Experience in managing a small teamBehavioral Competencies:Strong Analytical Skills, business acumen and understanding of business operations, ability tounderstand business models and linkage to strategy.
