Energy, Climate & Environment Expert - Business and Investment Climate Reforms NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility , which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment. The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth . We are creating a pool of Energy, Climate & Environment Experts for this project. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. Key Responsibilities Provide advisory on climate-smart investment frameworks Support reforms enabling green and sustainable investments Integrate environmental and climate considerations into policy Develop sector-specific analyses and recommendations Requirements: Education Master’s degree in energy, environmental science, climate policy, economics, or related field General Professional Experience Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments Specific Professional Experience Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms Minimum 3–5 years of experience in energy, climate, or environmental sectors Development Cooperation Experience Minimum 5 years in development cooperation projects Languages English (C1 mandatory) Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1) Inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment but provides access to project opportunities as they become available.
