Hiring for Senior Resident Engineer | Long term Contract | Remote Title: Senior Resident Engineer- Cohesity Data Protection & Infrastructure Work Location: Remote from India/US EST time zone working hours Duration: Long Term contract Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource embedded with a strategic enterprise client. In this role you will own the end-to-end delivery of Cohesity-based data protection initiatives, act as the client's trusted advisor on storage and infrastructure architecture, and bridge the gap between the customer environment and Cohesity's Engineering, Product, and QA teams. You will be accountable for project outcomes, executive-level stakeholder communication, and the quality of technical documentation handed off to Operations teams on both sides. Qualifications •8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage engineering, or data protection roles •3+ years of hands-on experience with Cohesity DataProtect or comparable enterprise backup/recovery platforms •Demonstrated success in a client-facing or resident engineer capacity; comfortable presenting to both technical teams and executive leadership •Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing high-quality technical documentation •Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to closure in a fast-paced enterprise environment •Cohesity certifications or equivalent vendor credentials are a plus
