Educational Qualification: B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed./ Diploma/Certificate in Sports coaching from the National Institute of Sports / Sports Authority of India in any of the games mentioned under the post with at least 3-5 years’ coaching experience and having computer skills Scope of Work To understand and internalize the rules of conduct and discipline framed by the school, both for the students and sports personnel for observance, on and off the playground. As a part of baseline data collection of all students, prepare student profile which shall include physical measurements, performance statistics on various fitness test and indices like BMI. Identifying the strength and weaknesses of the student-players and develop training programmes and inspire them to overcome their weaknesses by using different types of coaching styles to add to their confidence level. To discuss and understand the expectations with regard to the achievement in respect of the sport selected by the students. To design and understand a detailed programme of coaching based on general syllabus and detailed training manuals. To observe and record the achievements of all students individually and as class for reporting and follow up. To identify gifted students in a sport for forming teams, for further training and participation in the tournaments or events etc. To see that the playgrounds or courts are maintained properly and to report any damages caused to the equipments and grounds. To promote a spirit of being together and playing together on the ground amongst students. To inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship in students. To promote competitive spirit and excellence in students. To ensure participation of all students in sports. To ensure safety of all students while playing on the school ground, while travelling and during tournaments.
