About the RoleThe Operation MIS Lead will drive data-led decision-making across freight forwarding operations by building a centralized, automated reporting ecosystem. This role will own Power BI dashboards, reporting governance, and analytics to deliver real-time business insights and improve operational and commercial performance.Key Responsibilities1. Dashboard & Reporting OwnershipDesign and manage scalable Power BI dashboards across operationsDefine and standardize KPIs for performance trackingEnable real-time / near real-time reporting by integrating multiple data sourcesBuild intuitive dashboards for internal stakeholders and customers2. Operational & Commercial ReportingDevelop reports for shipment tracking, SLA, OTD, and exception managementCreate dashboards for cost, invoicing, AR/AP, and contract complianceDeliver governance and customer-specific reports3. Data & MIS GovernanceBuild centralized MIS framework ensuring single source of truthAutomate reporting (daily/weekly/monthly MIS packs)Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency (>99%)Manage data from ERP, TMS, WMS, and finance systems4. Analytics & InsightsIdentify trends, gaps, and performance issues through data analysisConduct variance, cost, and margin analysisDrive root cause analysis and corrective action trackingProvide actionable insights to improve efficiency and profitability5.
