The successful candidate will serve as a critical bridge between the firm’s award-winning research and the trading desks of the world’s most prominent institutional investors. You will leverage your market acumen to deliver real-time color, generate actionable alpha, proactively source liquidity, and aggressively drive the firm’s /"share of wallet./" Acting as a trusted advisor to buy-side Portfolio Managers and traders, you will utilize the firm's best-in-class execution capabilities as a natural extension of your premium client service.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Client Advisory: Act as a primary touchpoint for FII and DII Portfolio Managers and buy-side traders. Proactively deliver real-time market intelligence, news flow analysis, and actionable /"trading floor color/" to guide their investment decisions.Research Monetization & Idea Generation: Effectively cross-sell and monetize the firm’s high-quality research products. Translate complex research into actionable trading strategies to maximize /"share of wallet/" across high-yield institutional accounts.Block Facilitation & Liquidity Sourcing: Actively identify /"naturals/" within the firm’s extensive client ecosystem. Source liquidity and facilitate high-touch crosses and large-scale block trades, ensuring the firm remains a preferred liquidity provider.Relationship Expansion: Deepen existing footprints and strategically develop new relationships with prominent FII execution desks across global hubs, including Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and the US.Institutional Broker Rankings: Drive the firm’s commercial presence, aiming to propel the desk into the Top 3 execution rankings in institutional broker votes (The Vote).Internal Synergy: Collaborate seamlessly with the research, traditional sales desks, and the highly engaged Corporate Access team to deliver a unified, premium client experience.Best Execution & Risk Management: Oversee the strategic execution of large-scale cash equity orders, determining the optimal balance of high-touch handling and algorithmic suites (VWAP, TWAP, POV) to consistently generate Execution Alpha. Maintain 100% adherence to SEBI regulations, exchange rules, and internal risk limits, while overseeing post-trade lifecycle management.Qualifications & Ideal ProfileExperience: Proven track record in Institutional Cash Equity Sales Trading with dedicated FII coverage. Existing, portable relationships with global buy-side trading desks are highly preferred. (DII client exposure is a distinct advantage).Market Acumen: Deep understanding of Indian capital markets, market micro-structure, and institutional liquidity pools, with a proven ability to consistently beat benchmarks (VWAP/IS) and provide value-add post-trade Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).Commercial Drive: Demonstrated ability to independently drive revenue, capture market share (Flow Growth), and positively influence institutional broker rankings.Communication & Marketing: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex market trends, assist in writing daily commentary, and effectively market trading products.Cultural Fit: A curious, proactive, and alpha-driven professional who thrives in a merit-driven, collaborative environment that rewards sharp thinking and uncompromising integrity.Licensing: Must hold all requisite regulatory certifications required for institutional sales trading in India.
