Role Purpose: To lead and manage the organization’s fund-raising strategy, ensuring timely availability of funds at optimal cost through debt, equity, structured finance, and alternative funding instruments, while maintaining strong relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions. Job Description: Plan and execute short-term and long-term fund-raising strategies aligned with business and project requirements. Raise funds through Term loans, working capital limits, Project finance (EPC / Infra / Renewable projects), ECB, NCDs, Bonds, Mezzanine finance, Equity / PE / Strategic investors Optimize capital structure and cost of funds. Build and manage strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, DFIs, multilateral agencies and financial institutions. Lead credit appraisals, consortium / multiple banking arrangements and lender negotiations. Handle sanctions, documentation, drawdowns, covenants and compliance. Arrange project-specific funding for EPC / Infra / Renewable assets including SPVs. Coordinate with internal teams for financial models, DPRs, TEV studies and lender due diligence. Support bid finance, performance guarantees, LC limits and BG enhancements. Interface with private equity funds, investors, rating agencies, trustees and advisors. Support equity infusion, valuation discussions, term sheets and shareholder agreements. Present fund-raising proposals to Board, Audit Committee and senior management. Forecast funding requirements and cash flows in coordination with FP&A and business teams. Monitor interest rate risk, currency risk, refinancing opportunities and covenant compliance. Support restructuring, refinancing or debt reduction initiatives. Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, Companies Act, SEBI and lender-specific requirements. Coordinate audits, lender reviews, stock statements and financial reporting. Lead and mentor the fund-raising / corporate finance team. Coordinate closely with Treasury, Accounts, Legal, Tax and Projects teams.
