Responsibilities Design and maintain scalable PostgreSQL database architectures Optimize queries, indexes, and overall database performance Manage backups, recovery, replication, and high availability Ensure database security, access control, and compliance Handle PostgreSQL-specific administration (WAL, tuning, clusters) Perform migrations and manage replication strategies Provide L2/L3 production support and routine maintenance Monitor databases and proactively resolve issues Document processes and support operational excellence Requirements 3 years of DBA experience with strong PostgreSQL expertise Hands-on experience with AWS, especially Amazon RDS Experience in performance tuning, HA, DR, and replication Strong knowledge of database security and access management Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience in fast-paced, production-critical environments
