Hybrid Power & Energy Systems Lead Exp-15 + yrs Location; Bangalore Position Summary The Hybrid Power & Energy Systems Lead is responsible for the architecture, integration, and certification support of Jaunt’s hybrid‑electric energy system. This role owns the battery system, ICE generator integration, power electronics, and energy management strategy supporting VTOL, transition, and extended‑range cruise operations. Key Responsibilities Architect the hybrid‑electric energy system, including batteries, ICE generator, and power electronics Define operating modes and energy management strategies across all flight phases Lead battery system design and supplier integration, ensuring safety, thermal control, and certification compliance Integrate ICE generator systems, power conversion hardware, and control interfaces Own system‑level power management, fault tolerance, redundancy, and emergency power concepts Design and integrate high‑ and low‑voltage electrical architectures and protection strategies Support integration of motors, controllers, contactors, converters, and SSPCs Perform electrical load, power quality, and thermal analyses Support hardware qualification, EMI/EMC compliance, testing, and certification artifacts Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline 15+ years total engineering experience, including 5+ years in hybrid‑electric, battery, or aircraft power systems Strong experience with high‑voltage systems, battery integration, and power electronics Prior aerospace or advanced vehicle program experience strongly preferred
