Job Description Telus International AI Data Solutions, or TI AI for short, has been a global leader in AI data services since 2005. Listed in Feb 2021 on the NYSE, TI has a market cap of USD 3 billion. With the acquisition of Playment in July 2021, TI now offers end-to-end AI training data solutions for video, images, audio, and text, serving the world’s top ML teams. Our platform supports growing AI and ML use cases of customers across industries - including automotive, agritech, insurance, retail, aerial imaging, Extended Reality (AR/VR), and more. Why is it important? High-quality training data is the most crucial building block of ML, AI, and GenAI algorithms that are shaping tech advancements today. Enterprises adopting AI spend a considerable amount of their time in pre- and post-processing this data and require a combination of sophisticated tools supporting multiple data types, as well as a skilled and diverse workforce to ensure high-quality labelled data. Since quality training data is the first step in quality AI solutions, our AI Data platforms and solutions are designed to cover end-to-end requirements for customers - from collection, selection, annotation, and even advanced GenAI tasks. Our global AI community of 1M+ contributors also helps companies test and improve AI and ML models, with wide subject matter expertise across data types, languages, geographies, and cultural contexts - enabling smarter products, better customer solutions, and so much more. This helps our customers focus on business outcomes instead of advanced AIOps. Role description: We are seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to own and drive the platform and infrastructure layer of our GenAI Studio. This role is deeply technical — you'll be responsible for the foundational systems that power our labelling platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance as we support the world's most advanced GenAI development workflows. You will devise the platform strategy, develop the infrastructure roadmap, and oversee execution of high-impact initiatives that enable our product teams, engineering teams, and customers to build and scale with confidence. Your mission is critical: to imagine and build products that provide fine-tuning datasets essential for foundational model builders and any company poised to integrate AI into their workflows. It's a chance to contribute to a technological narrative unfolding right in front of us. Responsibilities ● Own the platform product roadmap — define, prioritise, and drive infrastructure initiatives that support GenAI Studio's growth and reliability. ● Collaborate deeply with engineering on technical architecture, tech specs, and system design decisions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability. ● Talk to internal teams and customers to understand platform needs, pain points, and performance gaps. ● Define and track key platform metrics — uptime, latency, throughput, adoption, and developer experience. ● Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and ops teams to build consensus and drive execution using data. ● Stay current on infrastructure trends, platform engineering best practices, and the evolving AI/ML tooling landscape. ● Partner with Sales and Product Marketing on platform capabilities, positioning, and pricing strategy. Work with product designers to improve developer-facing workflows and platform usability. Requirements ● 6–8 years of overall experience, with significant time spent as a Platform Product Manager or in infrastructure-focused product roles within B2B SaaS companies. ● Engineering background — hands-on experience working on critical infrastructure, developer platforms, or internal tooling systems. ● Computer Science degree from a top-tier institute (IITs, BITS, NITs, or equivalent). ● Strong technical depth — comfortable reviewing tech specs, engaging in architecture discussions, and writing or reviewing customer-facing API documentation. ●Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments where speed and quality both matter. ●Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical problems clearly. ● Persistence and resourcefulness — a whatever-it-takes approach to unblocking teams and delivering outcomes. You'll catch our eye if ● You think in first principles and can break down complex platform problems into clear, actionable plans. ● You've built or scaled infrastructure products that other teams and products depend on. ● You're technical enough to hold your own in engineering discussions and can context-switch between sprint-level details and macro platform strategy. ● You have side projects, open-source contributions, or a track record that shows genuine passion for building technical products. ● You obsess about platform quality, developer experience, and making the building process better for everyone around you. Benefits ● Work with a world-class team solving a very forward-looking problem ● Health Insurance for the family ● Open Culture ● Work accessories and a great location ● Flexible timings ● Competitive Pay
