Job Title: Factory Admin ManagerLocation: Perambur,ChennaiIndustry: Food ManufacturingCTC: 7 LPAJob Summary:The Factory Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing all administrative, facility management, statutory compliance, and regulatory functions of the manufacturing unit. The role also supports HR activities such as recruitment coordination, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure smooth plant operations and workforce effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative & Facility ManagementOversee end-to-end factory administration including housekeeping, security, transport, and canteen operationsEnsure proper upkeep and maintenance of factory premises, utilities, and infrastructureManage vendor selection, contracts, and service-level agreements2. Statutory Compliance & LicensesEnsure compliance with the Factories Act, labor laws, and applicable local regulationsObtain, renew, and maintain all statutory licenses and approvals, including:Pollution Control Board approvals (CTE/CTO)Fire & Safety NOC / Fire LicensePolice permissions (where applicable)Trade License and other local statutory approvalsMaintain statutory registers, records, and documentationCoordinate with government authorities and manage inspections and audits3. EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) CoordinationEnsure adherence to environmental norms and pollution control standardsOversee waste management and disposal in compliance with regulationsSupport implementation and monitoring of fire safety systems and emergency response plansWork closely with the EHS team to ensure audit readiness and compliance4. Security & Safety ManagementSupervise plant security operations, access control, and surveillance systemsEnsure maintenance and periodic audit of fire safety systems (hydrants, extinguishers, alarms)Conduct mock drills and promote safety awareness across the plant5. HR Support (Recruitment, Onboarding & Training)Coordinate with HR for recruitment of plant-level staff and support hiring processesFacilitate onboarding of new employees, including documentation and induction programsCoordinate and track employee training programs (safety, compliance, skill development)Maintain training records and ensure statutory training compliance6. Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare and manage administrative budgetsMonitor expenses and drive cost optimization initiatives in facility management7. Liaison & CoordinationLiaise with Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, police authorities, and other regulatory bodiesCoordinate effectively with Production, QA, HR, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in any disciplineMBA / PG Diploma in Administration / Operations (preferred)Experience:8–15 years of experience in factory administrationMandatory experience in handling statutory compliance, pollution control, and fire safetyExperience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, and training preferredPrior experience in food manufacturing / FMCG industry preferred
