The Role We are seeking a Program Manager to drive industry engagement and monetization efforts for our Multimodal Intelligence and Real Applications (MIRA) Lab. The selected candidate will play a key role in positioning the lab’s capabilities to understand industry projects featuring multimodal AI. This role involves working at the intersection of technology and business, engaging with industry partners, identifying high-impact use cases, and converting opportunities into funded projects. The candidate will closely collaborate with researchers, engineers, and leadership to translate technical capabilities into real-world applications and revenue-generating partnerships.  Responsibilities Identify and engage with potential industry clients (corporate with technology focus, MNC’s and leading Indian companies with appreciation of research in AI) who can leverage the lab’s multimodal AI capabilities. Develop and articulate clear value propositions for the lab’s offerings, including data collection, annotation, and AI model development services. Drive end-to-end business development activities, including lead generation, client discussions, proposal development, and conversion into funded projects. Work closely with internal technical teams to understand lab capabilities and define project scope based on client requirements and build proposals. Build and maintain long-term relationships with industry partners, acting as the primary point of contact for external collaborations. Contribute to the preparation of technical and strategic proposals for government and industry funding opportunities. Track market trends and identify emerging use cases where multimodal AI data and models can create value. Support the overall strategy and positioning of the lab as a leading facility for multimodal AI research and data services.  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field, plus a Master’s degree and/or MBA. 5–7 years of experience in technical product management, business development, or related roles in AI, data, or deep-tech domains.  Remuneration: Up to INR 90,000/- per month based on experience. Performance-based incentives will be designed after first year of operations.
