Let's create the future—together.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Lead / Senior Lead – Supplier Industrialisation to drive end-to-end industrialisation strategy and execution for a defined component category. This role will own supplier readiness, process capability, and quality performance from development to mass production, while working closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers.The candidate can come with deep expertise in any one category such as Metals, Powertrain, Plastics, or Surface Treatments.Key Responsibilities Category OwnershipOwn industrialisation strategy for a specific component category (Metals / Powertrain / Plastics / Coatings)Drive supplier selection, capability assessment, and technical benchmarkingBuild a robust supplier ecosystem aligned with UV’s quality and scale requirementsSupplier Industrialisation & Ramp-upLead end-to-end industrialisation from RFQ to SOP and mass productionDrive APQP, PPAP approvals, and process validation at supplier locationsEnsure manufacturing readiness, line qualification, and capacity planningProcess Excellence & QualityEstablish and monitor CTQs, process controls, and inspection strategiesDrive resolution of supplier quality issues using structured problem-solvingImprove yield, reduce rejection, and ensure stable mass productionDomain Expertise (Any One or More)1. Metals – Fabrication (Sheet Metal / Weldments)Stamping, bending, laser cutting, welded assembliesFixture strategy, weld quality, dimensional accuracy2. Metals – Castings / Forgings / Machining (Powertrain Focus)Die casting, forging, CNC machining, heat treatmentMotor housings, shafts, precision rotating partsFocus on porosity control, runout, surface finish, balance-critical interfaces3.
