Role: This is an internship role, and you'd be working very closely with the Founder to make our chef and customer experience wonderfulDuration: 3-4 months (with a PPO based on performance)About ToccoTocco is a tech enabled platform that connects people with authentic regional foods made in small batches by carefully vetted home chefs. We exist to encourage India to eat at home, more often reliving the nostalgia of good food we grew up eating. Everything on the Tocco - from snacks and pickles to masalas and festive foods- is clean ingredient, no preservative, and always FRESH!If you enjoy discovering great food, meeting really interesting people, and seeing how a young startup operates from the inside, this will be a fun role for you,The RoleThis is a Founder’s Office internship, which means you’ll work closely with the founder and get exposure to multiple aspects of the business.Your primary focus will be discovering, onboarding, and managing Tocco’s network of home chefs. Along the way, you’ll also support customer experience, quality checks, and community engagement.It’s a hands-on role suited for someone curious, proactive, and excited by the idea of building something from scratch.What You’ll DoChef Network & Supply (Primary Focus)• Identify and discover talented home chefs across regions• Evaluate recipes, products, and production capacity• Onboard chefs onto the platform• Conduct weekly check-ins and performance reviews• Manage chef relationships and order coordination• Craft compelling chef stories and narratives for customersCustomer Experience & Community (Secondary)• Review orders and ensure delivery details are correct• Reach out to customers when needed for confirmations or updates• Support delivery notifications and follow-ups• Visit kitchens for basic quality checks• Attend events and support community initiatives that drive organic trafficWho This Is Ideal ForSomeone who:• Loves food and discovering regional specialties• Enjoys speaking with people and building relationships• Is organised but comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment• Takes ownership rather than waiting for instructionsYou don’t need a culinary background- but genuine curiosity about food and culture is important.How to Apply1.
