Scope may include support for prospecting, renewals, endorsements and cancellations or claims and expense payments, recoveries, and reinsurance placements. Liaises with all key stakeholders in support of company and department objectives that relate to the accurate and timely delivery of aforementioned services, and to achieve the highest level of customer service both internally and externally. Works collaboratively with management to meet business and capacity needs. Provides technical support to and resolves technical issues with their team. Manages the team with full authority and managerial control using initiative and independent judgement to meet internal and external service levels. Possesses full authority for establishing and maintaining data integrity. Interviews and hires new employees; recommends and selects existing employees’ salary level. Possesses full authority in decisions when hiring and terminating employees following appropriate HR country specific guidelines.Job Responsibilities:Oversees teams conducting transactional activities to ensure quality and accuracy in capturing and producing information and recording financial and business information.Communicates and implements corporate rules and guidelines related to business and transactional processes. Provides direction to staff, and holds them accountable for achieving client/broker, corporate and regulatory objectives and for providing exceptional services to internal and external customers.Embraces and fosters change management initiatives. Communicates with operations and corporate personnel to implement business changes and procedures. Resolves issues in a timely manner.Coaches and develops employees. Outlines and communicates performance expectations, conducts individual performance assessments to reinforce employee strengths and identify development opportunities. Provides the necessary training and development tools to promote employee improvement. Interviews and hires employees.Skill and Experience:5+ years of experience required to perform essential job functions.Additional Experience Qualifier : A combination of education and work experience will be considered.Knowledge of corporate rules and guidelines, regulatory standards, and proprietary systems.Ability to lead, manage, and motivate diverse teamAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.Strong analytical abilityExcellent planning and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to research issues, identify problems, maintain effective working relationships and identify the internal and external dynamics that impact the work of the organization.Ability to implement evaluation tools to ensure progress and monitor accountabilityAbility to deliver training in the use of proprietary systems, maintain and improve technical skills and knowledge, and be flexible and receptive to change.Knowledge of Microsoft Office productsMust Have Skills:Demonstrated Leadership and Management experience (70-75%)Insurance/Insurance Operations/Insurance Process (understanding of renewals, endorsements, claims, cancellations)Proficient Microsoft 365/ Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)English is required; bi-lingual preferred.Good to Have Skills:Leadership and Management experience. Plus, if in multi-dimensional workstreams/teams.General Insurance KnowledgeExperience in dynamic ESD environment, shifting team/work responsibilitiesProblem solving and solution oriented.Proficient to learn and understand proprietary business systems and workflow tools.Education and Certifications:4 Year / bachelor’s degree required.Work location: Bengaluru
