The company has carved out a significant niche in the education sector by focusing on experiential learning—specifically through Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and comprehensive STEM-based programs.Role OverviewAs the Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the company’s core financial and accounting operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF), and preparing financial reports that will aid the management in strategic decision-making.This is a full-time, on-site role based at our office in Sethi Colony (Near Raja Park) Jaipur.Key Responsibilities1. Statutory Compliance & TaxationCalculate and ensure timely filing of all statutory dues, including GST, TDS, TCS, PF, and ESI.Reconcile GST portals with account books (GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation).Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns and handle assessments or notices, if any.2. Financial ReportingManage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).Finalize the trial balance, Profit & Loss (P&L) account, and Balance Sheet.Maintain complete and accurate general ledgers and ensure regular bank reconciliations.Prepare Monthly Information System (MIS) reports for the management team regarding cash flow, expenses, and revenue generation.3. Audit & Payroll ManagementLiaise with external auditors to ensure smooth statutory, tax, and internal audits.Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including calculating deductions and finalizing full and final (F&F) settlements.4. Vendor & Inventory ManagementProcess vendor invoices, reconcile vendor ledgers, and manage payment schedules.Oversee inventory accounting for physical STEM/Robotics kits, ensuring accurate stock valuations and regular physical verification.Candidate ProfileEducation: Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter/CA Finalist) or a fully Qualified CA. A strong academic background in Commerce/Accounting is required.Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in handling end-to-end corporate accounting and compliance.Core Skills:Exceptional proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / ERP 9) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).In-depth practical knowledge of Indian tax laws, specifically GST and TDS.Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Attributes: High integrity, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the capacity to meet strict financial deadlines in a fast-paced Ed-Tech startup environment.
