Site Incharge Solar (O&M)Level: Assistant Manager / Senior EngineerLocation: Charanka (GJ) / Gulbarga (KA) / Solapur (MH) / Khandwa (MP)Role PurposeTo lead end-to-end operations & maintenance (O&M) of a 1520 MW ground-mounted solar power plant, ensuring optimal plant performance, high availability, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Plant Operations & MaintenanceManage complete O&M activities of the solar plant including inverters, SCBs, transformers, and evacuation systemsPlan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenanceEnsure maximum uptime and adherence to PR, CUF, and availability targetsDrive module cleaning strategies to optimize generation2. Performance Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor plant performance through SCADA and analytics toolsAnalyze generation data (daily/monthly/yearly) to identify underperformanceImplement corrective actions to improve plant efficiency and outputTrack and improve MTTR / MTBF3. Team & Site ManagementLead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and techniciansPrepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly work plansEnsure productivity, discipline, and capability development of site team4. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service vendors for maintenance and repairsEnsure timely availability of spares and inventory managementSupport audits, inspections, and stakeholder visits5. Reporting & CompliancePrepare and review MIS reports, generation reports, and incident reportsEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and grid requirementsConduct JMR (Joint Meter Readings) and support billing processes6. Cost & Asset ManagementOptimize O&M cost through data-driven decision makingMonitor and control site budgets and resource utilizationDrive initiatives for cost reduction and operational efficiency7. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and standardsClose all audit observations and non-conformities (NCs)Promote a strong safety culture at site8. Project Handover & Site Setup (Important for New Sites)Lead site mobilization and plant handover/takeover from EPCEnsure readiness of systems, documentation, and team during site commissioningEstablish O&M processes for newly operational plantsEligibility CriteriaEducationB.Tech / BE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics (Mandatory)Experience7-9 years (Sr. Engineer) / 8-12 years (Assistant Manager)Hands-on experience in solar plant O&M (10+ MW plants)Experience as Site Incharge / Plant Lead preferredNice to HaveElectrical Supervisor License
