Informatica CDC Real-Time Engineer (Onsite – Oman)  Experience: 8-10 Years Location: Oman for approximately 8 months (role may transition to remote (India) based on project extension and business requirements) Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred (up to 30 days acceptable)  Summary  We are looking for an experienced Informatica CDC Real-Time Engineer to design and build high-performance, low-latency data pipelines. The role focuses on capturing real-time data changes from source systems and delivering them to modern cloud platforms with minimal impact on source performance. You will work on log-based CDC, streaming ingestion, and scalable data pipelines to enable faster and more reliable data-driven decisions.  Key Responsibilities • CDC Architecture Design: Define and implement end-to-end CDC architecture for real-time data pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability. • Log-Based CDC Implementation: Utilize Informatica PowerExchange to read database logs (e.g., Oracle Redo Logs) and capture INSERTs, UPDATEs, and DELETEs in real-time. • Real-Time Ingestion: Configure Mass Ingestion Streaming and Mass Ingestion Databases within IDMC to enable continuous, low-latency data streaming. • Data Pipeline Optimization: Design and optimize ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines to ensure minimal latency and high performance for large-scale data processing. • Scalability & Performance Management: Build fault-tolerant and scalable pipelines capable of handling high-volume data with minimal impact on source systems. • Schema Drift Management: Automatically manage changes in source data structures, ensuring pipelines remain stable during schema evolution. • Data Validation & Reconciliation: Implement validation routines to ensure data accuracy and consistency between source and target systems. • Integration with Streaming Platforms: Stream change data into messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, or Azure Event Hubs. • Monitoring & Alerting: Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to track pipeline health, performance, and failures. • Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform root cause analysis and resolve data pipeline issues to ensure system reliability and uptime. • Data Governance & Integrity: Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across all data pipelines and systems. Required Skills  Strong expertise in Informatica (PowerExchange CDC, IDMC)  Hands-on experience with log-based CDC and real-time pipelines  Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)  Experience in ETL/ELT design and optimization  Exposure to Kafka / Event Hubs / Pub/Sub  Experience with Snowflake / Databricks  Knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP environments  Strong understanding of data validation, schema evolution, and reliability  Familiarity with monitoring, scheduling, and DevOps practices  Relocation & Employment Benefits: Visa, work permit, and all related documentation will be supported by the company Medical insurance will be provided as per company policy Further benefits will be shared post screening process If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply using the link below:
