Job Summary Evalueserve is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to own and maintain the firm’s reference data and operational technology infrastructure. This role will focus on managing security master workflows, identifier harmonization, and operational data integrity in close partnership with fund accounting and operations teams. This role will also support broader operational technology initiatives across Finance, Compliance, and other business functions. The ideal candidate has deep reference data experience within buy-side or sell-side institutions and a rigorous, QA-driven mindset.Key Responsibilities • Own ingestion, normalization, tagging, QA, and reconciliation of reference data and securities identifiers (e.g. Bloomberg identifiers, CUSIP, FIGI, Capital IQ), including handling identifier changes driven by corporate, with particular emphasis on equities, futures and options across US and international markets.• Design and maintain crosswalk / symbology mapping systems linking instrument, company, issuer, and legal entity data models across vendor and internal datasets (e.g. security master, company master), ensuring reliable joins across internal and vendor datasets to support downstream workflows.• Own integration of Bloomberg Data License/API and vendor feeds, including arbitration across sources.• Implement and monitor ETL pipelines for operational and reference datasets.• Build and maintain corporate actions processing and audit trails to preserve consistent time series and reconciliations.• Partner with operations/fund accounting teams to ensure daily accuracy/reliability of data workflows, including reconciliations.• Support adjacent operational technology initiatives (e.g., FinOps, compliance, alternative data crosswalks).Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in reference data management, operations technology, or securities data environments.• Strong understanding of US and international securities identifiers and data models.• Required: Experience with Bloomberg Data License and Bloomberg APIs.• Experience with SQL and Python for ETL and data processing.• Familiarity with Snowflake, Postgres, or similar databases.• Strong operational judgment and attention to data integrity.• Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.• Experience in buy-side or sell-side operational environments preferred.• Prior exposure to options, futures, and US corporates beneficial.• Corporate actions processing expertise is a plus.• Experience working with order management or trading systems (FlexTrade, Enfusion) preferred.Preferred Qualifications • Location: In-office, Mumbai, India (5 days per week)• Hours: India workday with 3-4 hours overlap with US Eastern Time• Team: Works with Operations/Fund Accounting and Engineering to maintain reference data and operational workflows.• Core Tools: SQL, Python (ETL/QA), workflow orchestration, Bloomberg Data License/API, Excel; OMS/trading system familiarityWhy Join Evalueserve?Evalueserve is a global leader in managed services that empower smarter decision-making and streamline critical workflows for more than 30% of the Fortune 500 companies across 45 countries.
