Job Title: Senior Air Ticketing Executive (GDS – Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) Location: Holiday Specialist, 45, Phase 2, Badli Industrial Area, Samaypur Badli, Delhi – Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month About the Company: Holiday Specialist is a growing travel and tourism company focused on delivering seamless, well-managed, and high-quality travel experiences. We specialize in both domestic and international travel solutions, ensuring operational accuracy, cost efficiency, and a strong customer experience across all services. Role Objective: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Air Ticketing Executive to manage end-to-end ticketing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both international and domestic air travel, along with a deep understanding of Global Distribution Systems (GDS). This role requires accuracy, problem-solving ability, and the capability to handle complex travel requirements while ensuring compliance with global aviation standards. Key Responsibilities: Reservations & Issuance: - Manage domestic and international flight bookings, including complex and multi-city itineraries - Handle complete reservation processes using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo Ticketing & Re-issuance: - Perform ticket issuance, revalidation, re-issuance, cancellations, and modifications - Handle manual fare calculations for date changes, route changes, and special booking scenarios Fare Optimization: - Identify and secure the most cost-effective fares using published, private, and corporate fare structures - Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining service quality Refund Management: - Process cancellations and refunds in accordance with airline policies and applicable rules - Maintain accuracy to avoid financial discrepancies or penalties Documentation & Compliance: - Verify travel documentation including visa requirements, transit rules, and health regulations before final issuance - Ensure adherence to airline fare rules, ticketing policies, and industry regulations Problem Resolution: - Act as a key point of contact for resolving ticketing issues, discrepancies, schedule changes, and urgent travel disruptions - Handle escalations efficiently and provide timely solutions Vendor & Airline Coordination: - Maintain professional coordination with airline representatives and consolidators - Secure waivers, resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth ticketing processes Operational Accuracy: - Maintain high accuracy in bookings and transactions to avoid errors, losses, or debit memos - Keep proper records of all ticketing activities and updates Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in air ticketing within a travel agency or tour operator - Strong working knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo - In-depth understanding of international and domestic fare rules, routing, and ticketing procedures - Knowledge of IATA guidelines, BSP processes, and airline ticketing standards - Ability to independently handle re-issues, refunds, and complex itineraries - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions - Good communication skills for coordination with airlines, vendors, and internal teams - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume requests Preferred Qualifications: - Certification from IATA (International Air Transport Association) or any recognized travel institute will be an added advantage - Experience in handling international travel and corporate ticketing requirements - Familiarity with multiple airline systems and fare structures What We Offer: - Professional and structured working environment - Opportunity to work on complex international travel operations - Growth opportunities based on performance and expertise - Exposure to real-time ticketing challenges and industry practices
