About the Role We are looking for Automation Field Engineer who'll be responsible for PLC/HMI/Motion programming, electrical schematics, control panel design, and field instrumentation integration. Ensure system functionality, troubleshooting support and performance optimization at customers locations in different geographical region. Technical Competencies: (Nature / type of technical proficiency required to execute this role) •PLC base control system design. •Hands on experience in AutoCAD, PLC programming, Motion, HMI (Preferably with B&R Control System) •Knowledge of use of Field instruments like, temperature, pressure, level meter, Flow meter •Knowledge of P&ID, Instrument datasheet •Knowledge of CE standards •Knowledge of control devices, motors and sensors •Hands on programming experience in B&R(Preferred), Siemens, Schneider, SQL, Structured Text, C/C++ •Should be able to read and design schematic Responsibilities: • Design and develop PLC-based automation systems for packaging and tube manufacturing machines. •Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and motion systems (B&R). •Conduct system testing, commissioning, and optimization ensuring CE compliance. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and provide on-site technical support. •Maintain and update technical documentation, software versions, and configuration records. •Support R&D and continuous improvement of automation solutions and standard templates. •Experience in interacting with internal / external customers to understand the technical aspects of the Machine that needs to be documented. •Should be able to understand and advise corrective measures to the customer. •Ability to work in different culture. •Willingness to travel within India or abroad for longer period and / or on short notice. •Provide Field services for the machines manufactured by PSG Behavioural Competencies: (Nature / type of behavioural competencies required to execute this role) •Good coordination •Enthusiastic, Talented, Confident •Need to have ability to work with multi-cultural personalities •German Language skills will be preferred •Flexibility in time and location Experience: 5+ years (Basic Electrical and control systems design for packaging machines preferably tube manufacturing and packaging machines, Preferably with B&R Control System). Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Instrumentation/Equivalent
