Overview We are seeking a highly skilled AI Architect to design and deliver next-generation AI solutions for a leading South African client. This role will focus on leveraging cutting-edge AI tools, including large language models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, and cloud-based data platforms, to drive real-world business impact. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about building intelligent systems, working with advanced AI tooling such as Claude AI, and shaping scalable, production-grade AI architectures. Key Responsibilities Architect and deliver scalable AI solutions using LLMs, foundation models, and modular microservices architecture Design and implement agentic AI systems, enabling autonomous workflows and intelligent decision-making Leverage AI tools such as Claude AI and other leading LLM platforms to develop advanced use cases Work with cloud-based data platforms and databases to enable seamless data integration, processing, and analysis ranslate business requirements into robust AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams across South Africa and globally, including data, engineering, and business stakeholders Drive best practices in AI architecture, model deployment, monitoring, and optimisation Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as an AI Architect / AI Engineer / ML Architect Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, foundation models, and prompt engineering Experience with agentic AI frameworks and autonomous systems Exposure to tools such as Claude AI (or similar LLM platforms like GPT, Gemini, etc.) Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data ecosystems Strong database and data engineering understanding Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Nice to Have Experience in healthcare environments Exposure to real-time data processing and AI-driven automation Knowledge of microservices and distributed system design Location India (Remote/Hybrid) – Supporting a South African client
