COMPANY WEBSITE: Location: MUMBAI & PUNE ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Draughtsman who will be responsible for preparing accurate and coordinated HVAC drawings to support project execution. This role plays a critical role in translating design concepts into detailed shop drawings that ensure smooth and error-free site execution. You will work closely with design engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure all drawings are accurate, updated, and aligned with project requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) HVAC Shop Drawings Preparation Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings including: - Ducting layouts - Piping layouts - Equipment positioning Ensure drawings are aligned with approved designs and project specifications 2) Coordination Drawings (MEP Coordination) Prepare coordinated drawings with other services (Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, etc.) Identify and resolve clashes in coordination with project teams 3) Drawing Review & Modifications Update drawings based on: - Site conditions - Consultant comments - Design revisions Maintain proper version control of drawings 4) As-Built Drawings Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site execution Ensure proper documentation for project handover 5) Site Coordination Support Work closely with site engineers to understand practical execution challenges Modify drawings to suit site conditions 6) Documentation & Record Management Maintain drawing registers, submission logs, and revision records Ensure proper documentation for all drawing submissions 7) Compliance with Standards Ensure drawings comply with: - Project specifications - Industry standards - Coordination requirements IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: • 3–6 years of experience in HVAC drafting (commercial projects preferred) • Strong hands-on experience in: - HVAC shop drawings - MEP coordination drawings • Proficiency in: - AutoCAD (mandatory) - Basic understanding of HVAC systems • Ability to read and interpret HVAC design drawings • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple drawings • Good coordination and communication with project teams WHAT YOU’LL GET: • Opportunity to work on large-scale HVAC projects • Exposure to design and execution coordination • Strong technical learning in HVAC systems • Growth into BIM / Design roles • Hands-on experience in real project environments WHO SHOULD APPLY: This opportunity is ideal for those HVAC Draughtsman who: • Want to build strong expertise in HVAC drafting and coordination • Aspire to grow into BIM Modeler or Design Engineer roles • Enjoy detailed and technical drawing work
