Website: LinkedIn: Trunks Company: My Company | LinkedIn Instagram: Job Requirements and Skills: Position Objective- To lead the design and execution of high-end interior environments, including experiential ateliers, new estate, flagship international retail spaces/lounges, client’s private previews, Art & Design shows and exhibition setups—delivering sophisticated, bespoke spaces that embody house’s philosophy. The role entails end-to-end ownership from concept development to final execution, ensuring design excellence, precision, and seamless project delivery. A key focus will be on integrating in-house designed furniture and product elements interpreted from Trunks Company’s signature into the interiors of houses own spaces, creating cohesive, design-led environments that reflect houses own identity. This position demands a strong blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and project management capabilities to consistently deliver elevated, world-class spatial experiences. Job Skills - Strong understanding of luxury retail, experiential design, and spatial storytelling. Expertise in visual merchandising and brand space design Understanding of Principles of Product Design Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Rivet, Rhino/3Ds Max or equivalent rendering tools Knowledge of lighting design, material science, and furniture detailing Strong exposure to international design standards and execution practices Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders simultaneously Experience in budgeting, cost optimization, and vendor negotiations High level of aesthetic sensitivity and attention to detail Strong presentation and design communication skills Understanding of sustainable materials and design practices (preferred) Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, good personality, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on communication effectiveness. Major responsibilities: Global Design Collaboration: Work with Top Architects & agencies Internationally/ India for new cultural estate and international lounges. Exhibition and Event Design: Create immersive, visually stunning exhibition spaces for trade shows and brand events. Design spaces that not only showcase products but also engage and captivate the audience. Visual Merchandising & Experience Design Conceptualize and execute visual merchandising strategies, show windows, and display environments reflecting brand identity. Design spatial narratives that enhance customer engagement and luxury experience Stakeholder & Agency Coordination: Understand design briefs from management, develop concept proposals for alignment, and act as a bridge between architects, execution teams, and management to ensure seamless coordination and timely approvals. Act as the primary liaison for external agencies, architects, and vendors, ensuring smooth coordination. Oversee on-site execution, ensuring timelines, quality, and design intent are maintained. Present design concepts and progress updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders Technical Drawings and Documentation: Oversee, develop & approve detailed technical drawings, layouts, and execution plans from various agencies with alignment of management ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations. Translate conceptual ideas into execution-ready documentation with precision. Material, Product & Furniture Integration: Lead selection and integration of premium materials, finishes, fixtures, and bespoke elements. Work closely on in-house product and furniture design, including development of bespoke in-house furniture integrated within interior concepts, ensuring alignment with brand DNA. (For house’s own spaces) Vendor and Supplier Coordination Work in close co-ordination with the Purchase department for Effective communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products, materials with respect to design space & products. Quality & Site Management: Conduct regular site visits and supervise installations to ensure superior craftsmanship and execution accuracy. Resolve on-ground challenges proactively during construction and installation phases. Client Centric Experience Design: Engage with HNI/UHNI clients to understand design expectations and deliver tailored luxury solutions. Ensure a seamless and memorable client journey across physical and experiential touchpoints. Education: Post Graduate in Interior Designing. Experience: Minimum of 7 yrs. Experience (preferably in product design or High-End furniture industry or the architect’s house designs) Job Location/ Hours: This position is based in Jaipur, with occasional travel required.
