Netherlands Dairy Limited is looking for Agro Farm Manager/ Incharge (Cattle/Buffalo) Job Description / Responsibility - Oversee the overall operations of the integrated farm, including livestock cattle/buffalo, to ensure smooth and efficient farm management. - Supervise the care, feeding, breeding, and health management of cattle and buffalo to ensure optimal productivity and animal welfare. - Develop and implement production plans to maximize farm output and efficiency across livestock. - Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including feed usage, medicine administration, production data, mortality rates, and operational expenses. - Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure proper farm practices and productivity. - Ensure proper biosecurity measures and hygiene standards to prevent diseases and maintain a healthy farm environment. - Manage farm inventory, including feed, medicines, equipment, and other necessary supplies. - Prepare regular reports on farm operations and performance, and coordinate with management for strategic planning and improvements. Educational Requirements - Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry - Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture - Master of Science (MSc) - BSc/MSc in Agriculture / Agronomy/Horticulture - Bachelor degree in Animal Husbandry, Poultry Science, DVM, or a related field is highly preferred - Skills Required: Animal Breeding, Poultry Farm Management, Breeder Farm Management Experience Requirements - 7 to 10 year(s) - The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Poultry, Farming Additional Requirements - Strong knowledge of farm operations, animal health, and hatchery management. - Ability to maintain proper documentation and operational records. - Good leadership and team management skills. - Ability to work in rural or farm-based environments.
