Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Tehri Garhwal district for the Impact Leaders & Entrepreneurs Fellowship (ILEF) role at U-Turn4Nature. As an ILEF Fellow, you will work closely with Rural Women's Self-Help Groups to empower them through capacity-building programs and leadership initiatives. Responsibilities include planning and executing community-based projects, supporting product development, facilitating workshops on sustainable practices, and ensuring alignment with U-Turn4Nature’s mission. You will also assist with monitoring progress, reporting project outcomes, and fostering partnerships with stakeholders to expand the impact of the initiatives. Qualifications - Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee community-driven initiatives. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams, including Rural Women's SHGs, stakeholders, and local communities. - Knowledge or experience in sustainability, community development, or social entrepreneurship is highly desirable. - Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions, focusing on capacity building and development of leadership qualities. - Proficiency in project tracking, outcome reporting, and the preparation of progress documentation. - Familiarity with rural community dynamics, local culture, and agricultural or food production practices is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, Rural Management, or related fields. Advanced degrees are an advantage. - Commitment to the principles of sustainability, social impact, and ethical practices. - Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of local dialects in the Tehri Garhwal district is a plus.
