Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam Group of Institutions is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Counselor / School Psychologist to support the emotional, behavioral, social, and academic development of students. The role involves providing individual and group counseling, conducting psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and collaborating with teachers and parents to foster holistic student well-being aligned with value-based education. This role involves being responsible for four to five residential school campuses situated within a cluster. The candidate will be required to travel to these institutional campuses on a regular basis. Past work experience of working as a school counselor/psychologist is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: - Visit campuses within the allocated cluster on a regular basis - Provide individual and group counseling for students - Conduct psychological assessments (learning, behavioral, emotional concerns) - Identify students requiring early intervention and support - Develop and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISP) - Provide career guidance and academic counseling - Conduct life skills and socio-emotional learning sessions - Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution support to students - Organize workshops on mental health, stress management, and well-being - Offer mental health literacy training to teachers and students - To provide training to teachers on the identification and management of children with behavioural issues and academic difficulties - Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators - Conduct parent meetings and provide psychoeducation - Maintain confidential student records and documentation - Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions Required Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology - Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents Skills & Competencies: - Strong assessment and counseling skills - Knowledge of child and adolescent development - Ability to handle crisis situations calmly - Ethical practice and confidentiality adherence - Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Personal Attributes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Must be fluent in English, Kannada, Telugu - Ability to work on own initiative - Passionate to work with children - Empathy, resilience, and ability to work in emotionally demanding settings - Reliable, Enthusiastic, Punctual and Self-motivated - Ability to identity and work within one’s limitation; seek support as and when required Other Requirements - Flexibility to travel across different sites (Mandatory) - Enthusiastic and willingness to engage in supervision, continuous personal and professional development, training, and service development activities Contact Details: Interested candidates may send their CV to: CV to: [recruitment@] For enquiries please contact: 6361095602 Subject Line: Application for Special Educator
