JOB DESCRIPTION – FACULTY OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES Position: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor Department: Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Specialisations Required: Designation Specialization: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Chemistry including Analysis, Location: Shoolini University, Solan (H.P.) Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs as per PCI and University norms. • Prepare and update course material, lesson plans, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements. • Conduct practical and laboratory sessions effectively. • Engage in research activities and publish in reputed journals. • Guide and mentor students in academic and research projects. • Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic audits. • Contribute to departmental and university committees and academic initiatives. • Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and FDPs. • Support student development through academic advising and career guidance. Eligibility Criteria (As per PCI / UGC Norms): Assistant Professor: • M.Pharm in relevant specialization with first class or equivalent. • Ph.D. preferred / as per regulatory requirements. • Teaching or industry experience is desirable. Associate Professor: • Ph.D. in relevant discipline. • Minimum experience as per PCI / UGC norms. • Research publications in indexed journals. Professor: • Ph.D. in relevant specialization. • Significant teaching and research experience as per regulatory guidelines. • Proven research and academic leadership record. Skills & Competencies: • Strong subject knowledge in respective pharmacy specialization. • Excellent communication and classroom management skills. • Research orientation and publication record. • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary academic environment. • Commitment to student-centered teaching and academic excellence. Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per University norms.
