Teaching & Academic DutiesDeliver lectures in core petroleum engineering subjects such as:Reservoir EngineeringDrilling EngineeringProduction EngineeringWell LoggingDevelop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plansSupervise student projects, internships, and thesesConduct laboratory sessions and field-based training where applicableEvaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and assessments2. Research & DevelopmentConduct high-quality research in areas like:Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)Reservoir simulationUnconventional resourcesPublish research papers in peer-reviewed journalsApply for research grants and fundingCollaborate with industry and academic institutions3. Academic Service & AdministrationParticipate in curriculum development and accreditation activitiesServe on departmental/university committeesAssist in organizing workshops, seminars, and conferencesContribute to institutional development initiatives4. Industry EngagementMaintain collaboration with oil & gas companiesFacilitate student internships and industry projectsStay updated with industry trends and technologiesQualifications & RequirementsEducationPh.D. in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related fieldExperience0–3 years of teaching/research experience (for entry-level roles)Industry experience in oil & gas is an added advantage
