Senior Manager – Finance (GL Controller & Subsidiary Accounting) Job Objective & Key ResponsibilitiesThe person needs to control and oversee the GL Accounting operations for Pan India and the activities of the team include:1. General Ledger & Journal EntriesRecord accurate journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and petty cash settlements.Assist in monthly closing activities, supporting P&L and Balance Sheet accuracy.Perform supplier ledger matching.Monthly Provisions and AccrualsAccounting as per IND AS 116/1092. Taxation & Statutory ComplianceAssist in Taxation Assessments as per requirementSupport TDS deduction and filings as per compliance.Coordinate with auditors for periodic and statutory audits.3. Reporting & MISPrepare financial summaries, helping in Overhead ControllingShare monthly GL reports with management for Accounting ControlSupport budgeting and forecasting processes.4. Subsidiary AccountingEnsure tallying of Subsidiary BalancesMonthly and Yearly consolidation of Subsidiary BooksEnsuring completeness and accuracy of Subsidiary Accounting.QualificationsCA with 10+ years of relevant experience.Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.Team handling experience is a plusPreferred ExperienceSolid understanding of accounting principles; experience with ERP systems is preferred.Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.Key Competencies & AttributesStrong command of spoken and written English.Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.Effective communicator across all organizational levels.Collaborative and able to lead cross-functional teams.Comfortable working with various financial software and systems.Ability to interpret airline operational manuals and apply financial insights.
