Location: Mumbai / Pune Department: Design Reporting To: Design Lead / Design HeadRole OverviewWe’re looking for a Workplace Design Strategist who doesn’t just design spaces—but designs how people work.This role sits at the intersection of design, business strategy, and user experience, translating client goals into high-performance, future-ready workplaces.You’ll work closely with clients, BD, and project teams to create concept-driven, insight-led workplace environments.Key Responsibilities1. Client & Workplace StrategyLead client discovery sessions to understand business goals, culture, and workforce needsTranslate client vision into workplace strategy frameworksConduct workplace assessments (occupancy, collaboration patterns, workflow analysis)Align design solutions with productivity, brand, and employee experience goals2. Concept DevelopmentDevelop design narratives, mood boards, and workplace conceptsCreate space planning strategies (zoning, adjacencies, density optimization)Present conceptual ideas to clients and leadership teamsEnsure concepts are aligned with commercial feasibility + execution realities3. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with:Business Development (for pitches & proposals)Design Team (for detailed execution)Projects Team (for build feasibility)Participate in pitch presentations and client workshops4. Research & InnovationStay updated with global workplace trends (hybrid work, agile offices, ESG design)Bring in new-age design thinking, technology integration, and sustainability conceptsBenchmark against leading workplace environments globally5. Documentation & PresentationDevelop high-quality client presentations (PPTs, concept decks)Prepare strategic design reports and space utilization insightsSupport proposal creation with design storytellingKey Skills & CompetenciesWorkplace Strategy & Design ThinkingClient Engagement & Presentation SkillsSpace Planning & Conceptual DesignStrong storytelling & visualization mindsetCommercial awareness (cost vs design balance)Collaboration across teamsQualificationsBachelor’s / Master’s in Interior Design / Architecture8-10 years of experience in workplace / commercial interior designExperience in client-facing roles preferred
