Join us in building scalable, content-driven digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), enabling organizations to deliver consistent and engaging customer journeys.Your RoleAs an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining AEM-based applications and components. You will work as an independent contributor within Agile teams, applying strong technical expertise in content management, backend development, and DevOps practices to deliver high-quality digital solutions.In this role, you will:Design, develop, and customize AEM components to meet business and content requirements.Work extensively with AEM workflows, Query Builder, schedulers, models, and OSGi services.Develop and manage AEM templates, HTL (Sightly), Content Fragments, Sling Event Handlers, and Dispatcher configurations.Apply strong content management principles to build scalable and reusable AEM solutions.Integrate AEM with backend systems using RESTful services.Utilize Java 8 or above, Maven, and modern build tools for application development.Collaborate in Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, deployments, and releases.Ensure code quality through adherence to object-oriented programming principles and testing methodologies.Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support production environments when required.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Your Profile5–6 years of experience as an AEM Developer.Strong hands-on experience with AEM component development and customization.Good knowledge of AEM workflows, Query Builder, schedulers, models, OSGi, and Dispatcher.Experience with HTL (Sightly), templates, Content Fragments, and Sling concepts.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, testing, and design principles.Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.Good exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in Java 8+, Maven, REST APIs; Spring knowledge is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work as an independent contributor with minimal supervision.What you’ll love about working hereThe opportunity to shape your career growth through diverse roles and internal mobility.Comprehensive wellness and benefit programs supporting employees and families.Access to one of the industry’s largest digital learning platforms with thousands of technical and professional courses.A collaborative, inclusive culture where innovation and ownership are encouraged.About CapgeminiCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
