Group/Business: Marmon Corporate/Glob Location: Bengaluru, India Reports To: Corporate Market Research Lead Summary The Senior Market Research Analyst will lead and execute high-impact market research in support of US-based innovation and business teams. This role owns research projects end-to-end, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.This role requires advanced analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate research into actionable insights for leadership decision-making. As well as for a high degree of independence and ownership, with collaboration across global time zones with a US-based team. Primary ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end market research projects: scope, design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.Utilize advanced research tools (IBISWorld, Pitchbook, Cypris) for market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting.Design and administer surveys; conduct interviews and qualitative studies as needed.Analyze complex datasets and synthesize findings into clear recommendations.Develop dashboards and visualizations for leadership using Power BI or similar tools.Conduct Voice Of Customer (VOC) interviews with subject matter experts and customers.Coordinate activities across teams: align timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure project milestones are met.Prepare executive-level presentations and deliver insights to senior leadership.Manage junior analysts and contribute to best practices in research methodology.Work effectively across time zones, including overlapping hours with US teams for live discussions, readouts, and stakeholder reviews.QualificationsMBA or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field OR minimum 3+ years of experience in market research or strategy roles.Previous experience with consulting firms is preferred.Experience in team coordination or leadership is a plus.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional collaboration.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft suite tools.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating across global teams.
