What You’ll Do • Source from India’s panel assembly clusters — Rajkot, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Faridabad • Identify 5–10 vendors per category, shortlist 3, close agreements within 3 weeks • Negotiate landed costs that enable 25–40% gross margins on assembled products • Structure payment terms: 30–45 day credit or LC-backed arrangements • Conduct factory audits for capacity, quality systems, and financial stability • Maintain 2–3 qualified backup vendors per critical component to eliminate single-source risk • Build 60-day rolling procurement plans aligned with field sales forecasts • Participate in Daily Huddle (9 AM, 15 min) — report vendor status and blockers Who You Are ✓ 5–8 years in sourcing/vendor management in electrical, switchgear, or motor controls ✓ Direct experience with panel assembly clusters (Rajkot / Coimbatore / Ahmedabad) ✓ Alumni of L&T Switchgear, Siemens, Schneider, Havells, or regional panel builders preferred ✓ Understand pump controller BOM: capacitors, contactors, relays, PCBs, enclosures ✓ Proven negotiator — 15–25% cost optimisation or margin improvement track record ✓ Comfortable structuring LC-backed and credit-term payment arrangements ✓ B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical). MBA in Ops/SCM is a plus ✓ English + Hindi mandatory. Gujarati or Tamil is a strong advantage
