With a strong presence across retail and hospitality sectors, it has built a loyal customer base through consistent quality and innovation.Job DescriptionRole Overview The Finance Controller will lead the finance and accounting function, establish robust financial governance, and support strategic decision-making. This role oversees end-to-end controllership, compliance, financial reporting, working capital management, and timely audit closure while partnering closely with leadership and PE stakeholders. Key Responsibilities1. Financial Reporting & Controllership:• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. • Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS. • Maintain strong internal controls, accounting hygiene, and documentation standards. • Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and integrity of financial records. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS:• Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting across business functions. • Publish monthly MIS with variance analysis, profitability insights, and business trends. • Track key KPIs across sales, distribution, operations, and working capital. 3. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management:• Optimize receivables, payables, inventory, and credit control. • Prepare weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts. • Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, and fund movements. 4. Compliance, Taxation & Audit Management:• Ensure statutory compliance: GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements. • Liaise with internal/external auditors for timely completion of statutory and tax audits. • Drive end-to-end audit closure within defined timelines, ensuring proactive resolution of audit points. • Establish and maintain finance policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks. 5. PE Reporting & Governance • Prepare investor reporting packs including performance dashboards, board decks, cash flows, and KPIs. • Support due-diligence, valuations, and data needs for PE stakeholders. 6. Team Leadership:• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team. • Build a culture of accuracy, speed, and compliance.Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. • 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in finance controllership roles within manufacturing / FMCG / food processing. • Experience in PE-backed or fast-growing environments is a strong advantage. • Deep knowledge of Ind AS, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial controls. • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
