Role PurposeTo manage Master data Governance using SAP MDG Tool in the Domain areas of FI and SCM, To ensure integrity of accounting, to continually develop process and support business performance where possible.Support in delivering finance and SCM objects enhancements and continuous improvement/ Areas Data Migration projects as well as ad hoc project support in SAP MDG Area. As MDG Consultant you`ll be responsible for development and Enhancements related to master data objects in FI and SCM areas of SAP MDG and S4 HANA Environments.The successful candidate should be able to deal with development and data migration activities in SAP MDG, work to tight deadlines and be organised in independently managing multiple deliverables and stakeholders. Proactive in your approach and able to communicate at all levels, you`ll be an excellent problem solver, analytical and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.Key accountabilities and decision ownership: To drive SAP MDG Projects related to Enhancements and Data Migration in the FI and SCM master data Objects.Act as Subject Matter Expert in the upgrades of SAP MDG and S4 Hana Environment.To timely Support the Master data management related issues for the operational teams in managing master data using SAP MDG.Diagnose problem areas and design innovative solutions in SAP MDG.Will be part of data migration activities and configurations as part of small rollout projects.Will create business requirement specifications from the business needs define the to be processes and detailed functional designs based on the requirements.Create Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and Functional Design Documents (FDD)Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance compliance across systemsParticipate in data migration, rollouts, and small governance projectsDesign and implement MDG change requests, validations, workflows, and derivationsData Migration & Initial Load experienceMDG Data Quality (MDG-DQM) concepts (rules, monitoring, remediation)Core competencies, knowledge and experience:Must have experience in SAP MDG projects performing MDG configurations and customizations in the areas like Data modelling, UI modelling, Process Modelling, Data replication Framework, key mapping, BRF+, setting up Validations and Derivations.Good Domain knowledge in Material and Business Partner, customer, vendor and finance Masters(Cost centre GL, Profit Centre ) and Custom Objectsin SAP MDG and S4 HANA environments.Full life cycle implementation cycle with Design, Build, fit gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutover and go live experienceGood Knowledge and experience in Consolidation, Harmonization and central Maintenance of master data for FI and SCM areas using SAP MDGHandling data inconsistencies during initial loadGood experience on post implementation Support and monitoring activities.Knowledge on technical customization for SAP MDG Workflows and floor plan Manager in the Material and Business partner Areas of SAP MDG.Experience in data migration and master data integration processes between SAP and Non SAP processes.Familiarity with MDG Consolidation & De-duplication is an advantageIntegration knowledge with SAP / Non-SAP systemsBasic Knowledge on SAP BTP and SAP MDG cloud servicesGood communication skills with ability to influence members.Ability to prioritise multiple deliverables.Highly organised with good time management and attention to detailPersonal drive to see tasks through to completion.Must have technical / professional qualifications: SAP MDG with 5+ years of experience Use of Microsoft Office Tools required
