Job Title: Telematics EngineerLocation: BengaluruExperience: 5–7 YearsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Telematics Engineer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong embedded systems expertise with a focus on telematics software development, modem integration, and in-vehicle networking. This role involves hands-on development, testing, and integration of telematics applications on automotive TCUs.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain telematics applications using C/C++Work extensively with Telematics SDKs for feature development and integrationDevelop and integrate modem-related functionalities; collaborate with modem vendors as requiredTest and validate telematics applications on Telematics Control Units (TCU)Perform system-level debugging and issue resolution across hardware and software interfacesUse Vector tools for CAN analysis, simulation, and diagnosticsImplement and validate communication using CAN protocolPerform software flashing and updates using tools such as Renesas FlasherCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and system validationRequired Skills & Experience:5–7 years of hands-on experience in embedded/telematics software developmentStrong proficiency in C/C++ programmingExperience working with Telematics SDKsPractical experience testing telematics applications on TCU hardwareHands-on experience with Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer)Good understanding of CAN protocol and in-vehicle networkingExperience using flashing tools (e.g., Renesas Flasher or similar)Good to Have:Experience with Qualcomm modem integration, including Vendor RILExposure to automotive standards and embedded Linux/RTOS environmentsFamiliarity with debugging tools and trace analysis for embedded systemsEducation:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
