The role involves working hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and backend integration to deliver reliable, production-grade conversational AI solutions.You will collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and frontend teams to translate business requirements into intelligent, scalable AI systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop LLM-based chatbots and conversational AI systemsImplement RAG pipelines using vector databases for document and knowledge retrievalPerform prompt engineering and prompt optimization for accuracy, safety, and performanceIntegrate LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source models, etc.) with backend servicesBuild and maintain chatbot APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask) or equivalent frameworksOptimize model latency, cost, and reliability for production deploymentImplement conversation memory, context management, and multi-turn dialogue handlingApply basic LLM evaluation techniques (hallucination detection, response quality checks)Work with frontend teams to integrate chat interfaces (web or mobile)Ensure security, access control, and compliance when handling enterprise dataStay updated with advancements in LLMs, tooling, and AI best practicesRequired Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in PythonHands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Mistral, etc.)Experience building chatbots or conversational AI systemsSolid understanding of:Prompt engineeringToken limits, context windowsHallucination issues and mitigation strategiesExperience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate, etc.)Familiarity with embeddings and semantic searchExperience building APIs using FastAPI / FlaskUnderstanding of REST APIs and microservices architectureWorking knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
