Role SummaryThe Project Head – Civil Execution is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & ExecutionLead and manage civil construction projects from initiation to completionDevelop project schedules, milestones, and execution strategiesEnsure adherence to project timelines and budgetsCoordinate with design, procurement, and planning teams2. Site ManagementOversee daily site operations and construction activitiesEnsure proper allocation of manpower, materials, and equipmentMonitor progress and resolve on-site issues proactively3. Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authoritiesConduct regular project review meetings and provide updatesEnsure client satisfaction and relationship management4. Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all construction activities meet quality standards and specificationsImplement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspectionsEnsure compliance with local regulations, safety norms, and environmental standards5. Cost & Budget ControlMonitor project costs and optimize resource utilizationApprove bills, contracts, and vendor paymentsIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality6. Risk ManagementIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesHandle project delays, disputes, and unforeseen challengesEnsure safety protocols are strictly followed7. Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and manage project teams including engineers and supervisorsEvaluate team performance and provide guidanceFoster a collaborative and productive work environmentKey RequirementsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)Master’s degree (preferred but optional)Experience09–28 years in civil construction/executionProven experience managing large-scale projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure)SkillsStrong leadership and decision-making skillsExcellent project management and organizational abilitiesKnowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulationsProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)Strong communication and negotiation skillsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project completion within time and budgetQuality compliance and defect ratesSafety performance (zero/low incidents)Client satisfactionCost efficiency and resource utilizationReporting StructureReports to: Director / VP – Projects
