Hiring Robotics Engineer with experience of 2-5 years.My client is into development of Amphibious and Underwater Autonomous Drone Systems.The candidate will be responsible for system-level integration of mechanical, electronics, firmware, and autonomy modules, ensuring reliable operation in harsh marine and amphibious environments. This role requires strong practical experience in robotics, embedded systems, control algorithms, and real-world testing. Key Responsibilities: • Lead robotics software development and integration for autonomous systems. • Design, test, and deploy robotics algorithms in ROS 2. • Simulate complex missions in Gazebo / Ignition environments. • Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and AI teams to achieve mission-ready autonomy. • Drive system testing both in lab and real-world conditions (including pool & offshore trials).Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or related fields. • Strong hands-on expertise with ROS 2, Gazebo / Ignition, C++/Python. • Deep understanding of perception, navigation, and control in robotics. • Experience working with AUVs, ROVs, or any underwater autonomous systems. • Knowledge of sensor fusion (IMU, DVL, sonar, cameras) is highly advantageous. • Experience in robotics R&D, with proven ability to lead projects end-to-end. • Good communication and collaboration skills.
