Job Title: Manager – Statutory Audit & Financial ReportingLocation: HSR, Bengaluru- Work from OfficeExperience: 7–8 YearsQualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – MandatoryPreferred Background: Big 4 experience will be given first preferenceRole OverviewWe are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 7–8 years of experience to lead and manage the statutory audit process and financial reporting function. The role involves preparation of Ind AS financial statements, coordination with auditors, and ensuring overall compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage the end-to-end statutory audit process including planning, execution, and closure.• Prepare and review Ind AS compliant standalone and consolidated financial statements.• Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants for audit deliverables and closure of audit observations.• Ensure timely finalisation of financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.• Handle CARO requirements, disclosures, notes to accounts, and audit queries effectively.• Monitor compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.• Strengthen internal financial controls and support audit readiness across business functions.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Tax, FP&A, Operations, Legal) for financial reporting inputs.• Support board/audit committee presentations and provide insights on financial performance and compliance matters.• Drive process improvements and automation in financial reporting and audit management.Required Skills & Competencies• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, and statutory audit procedures.• Hands-on experience in financial statement preparation and audit management.• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.• High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.• Experience in ERP systems and advanced Excel will be an added advantage.Preferred Candidate Profile• Chartered Accountant (CA) from 2017–2018 batch preferred.• 7–8 years of relevant experience in statutory audit / financial reporting.• Candidates with Big 4 audit or accounting advisory experience will be highly preferred.• Exposure to large corporates, e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors is desirable.
