Please apply only if you are available on that day./"JOB DESCRIPTION:Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases in Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations with minimal downtime.Manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions including:Always On Availability GroupsFailover ClusteringLog ShippingReplicationDesign and manage backup and recovery strategies, including regular restore testing.Monitor and optimize database performance through:Query optimization and execution plan analysisIndex managementPerformance monitoring and tuningHandle database security and compliance:User and role managementPermissions and access controlEncryption (TDE) and auditingTroubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues within SLA.Support 24x7 production environments, including on-call support as required.Automate routine DBA tasks using T-SQL, SQL Agent Jobs, and PowerShell.Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and support teams for smooth operations.Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base.Technical Skills RequiredStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014/2016/2017/2019/2022).Expertise in T-SQL, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.Solid understanding of SQL Server architecture and internals.Experience with Windows OS, storage, and basic networking concepts.Exposure to Cloud databases (Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance) is a plus.Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Interested Candidates can share their resume to
