Role OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned leader to head the Project Logistics vertical in India, with full ownership of business growth, strategy, and execution. This role is ideal for professionals currently working within freight forwarding organizations handling project cargo, ODC, and heavy lift movements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and scale the Project Logistics / Project Cargo business across IndiaDrive business development, client acquisition, and key account growthManage end-to-end commercial processes – RFQs, tendering, pricing & negotiationsDesign and oversee execution of complex logistics solutions (ODC, heavy lift, multimodal)Build and manage relationships with carriers, chartering partners, transporters & vendorsEnsure seamless project execution with strong focus on cost, safety & timelinesBuild and lead a high-performing team across regionsCandidate Profile12–18+ years of experience in Project Logistics / Project Cargo within Freight Forwarding companies onlyStrong expertise in ODC / Heavy Lift / EPC logisticsProven track record in handling large and complex logistics projectsStrong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, pricing & negotiationsPrior experience in a leadership role (Head / Director / Regional Head level)Strong industry network and stakeholder management skills
